The March Association Hoedown

Several squares were on hand for the last Association Dance of the season, the Annual Hoedown.

Jerry Jestin emceed the event.   

Also calling and cuing were Bob Tallman,

guest caller, Doug Pascal

 

  and Patty Porter.

Following the dance, the monthly meeting of the Yuma Square and Round Dance was held.  Officers for 2012-1013 were installed.  They are as follows:

Gene and Patt Jones, President

David and Karen Ohlde, Vice President

Pete and Linda Lewis, Second Vice President

Dolly Yarnell, Secretary

Connie and Ron Reeves, Treasurer

Sunday Dancing

Our annual End of Season Hoedown will be Sunday, March 11 at 2 p.m.  

The Dance, starting at 2:00 p.m, will feature Callers and Cuers from the floor, with Jerry Jestin as emcee. Dance will be Mainstream with announced Plus tips.

Dance is free.

Please bring non-perishable foods for the mission, and a finger food to share.

A meeting of the Yuma Square and Round Dance Association will be held immediately following the dance to install new officers for 2012-13. All dancers are encouraged to attend.

Note:  The Sunday Night Mainstream Dance at Fortuna Palms Community Club with the Porters has been canceled.
